The river Rhine bends grandly through the city, creating one stunning vista after another. Apart from visiting the wonderful museums, my favourite thing about Basel is to go for a swim: entering the River near the Tinguely Museum and float downstream using one of the iconic inflatable bags (Wickelfisch).”
